Design | The flag is a medium blue, with the county seal in the center, with 13 five-pointed white stars in an arc above the seal, and 1847 written in white below the seal. In the upper hoist quadrant is the county seal again, this time upon a brown, seven-pointed star bordered gold; the star is arranged so that one ray points down, and two point up.
